Maxx Performance – Dyno Tune Terms & booking Conditions

By booking a dyno tuning service or any other mechanical booking with Maxx Performance, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Vehicle Drop-Off and Pick-Up

  • All vehicles must be dropped off by 8:30am, unless prior arrangement.

  • Business hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. All vehicles must be collected within these hours.

2. Vehicle Readiness For Dyno.

  • Your vehicle must be mechanically sound, fully assembled, and roadworthy on arrival.

  • All fluids (oil, coolant, transmission, etc.) must be full and leak-free.

  • Battery must be charged and secured.

3. Dyno Safety Agreement.

  • You confirm that your vehicle is safe to be dyno tuned and accept full responsibility for any mechanical failures that occur during or as a result of testing.

  • Maxx Performance is not responsible for failures caused by existing or underlying issues.

4. Dyno Setup Charges.

  • If your car is placed on the dyno and needs to be removed for mechanical work, an additional fee will apply for time spent bolting, unbolting , and re-configuring the dyno.

5. Storage Policy.

  • Completed vehicles must be collected on the day of completion (unless otherwise organised)

  • A storage fee may be charged after this period unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Workshop Time & Rescheduling.

  • If your vehicle is booked for a Dyno tune and requires additional unexpected work, we reserve the right to reschedule your booking to allow sufficient workshop time.

7. Customer Supplied Parts.

  • We are happy to fit customer supplied parts upon request, but these parts come with no warranty, and we accept no responsibility for any failures or issues they cause.

  • Parts we supply and fit are subject only to the supplier’s warranty.

  • If you decline our professional advice regarding required or recommended parts or work, we are not responsible for any resulting issues or damages.

8. ECU Locking Policy.

  • All ECUs tuned by Maxx Performance are tuner locked.

    • This is to prevent unauthorised edits that may affect vehicle safety or performance, and to protect the integrity of our tuning work.

    • This also ensures that our tuning cannot be copied, reused, or falsely represented by others.

    • Any reputable workshop will still be able to unlock and tune your ECU from scratch.

    • This applies to both Aftermarket and Stock ECUs.

9. Payment Terms.

  • Full payment must be made and cleared before your vehicle is released.

  • We do not accept American Express or credit card payments over the phone.

10. Pricing Policy.

  • All pricing is final. We do not offer discounts, haggling, or cash only deals.

11. Workshop Safety.

  • Customers are not permitted in the workshop or dyno areas . This is for your safety and our Insurance. We are happy to take progress photos / videos of your car on the dyno if you would like.

    12. Cancellations and Rescheduling.

    Customers are required to provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or request to reschedule a booking. Notice must be given via phone, Facebook Messenger or email during business hours.

    Your booking deposit will not be refunded if you cancel any time before your booking.

    Failure to provide adequate notice, or failure to attend the booking without prior communication, may result in the application of a cancellation fee.

    At our discretion, this fee may be 10% of the total booking cost.

    This fee is intended to offset lost time, administrative costs, and disruption to scheduling.


    Agreement to Terms

    By proceeding with your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the above terms and conditions.

    If you do not agree to these terms, Maxx Performance reserves the right to cancel your booking.
