Another supercharged Y62 Patrol on the Dyno, this one visited us wanting to remove the current signal bender piggy back and upgrade to an ECUTek Multi Map -Maxx Performance tuning package.

-After removing the signal bender and completing the multi map setup on the factory ecu we refined our custom Maxx Performance tune on our Mainline Hub Dyno, this supercharged Patrol finished up at:
342.6rwkw still retaining the factory headers and front cats.

GR Yaris – Maxx Performance Stage 1 Package
This 2024 GR Yaris came in for our Maxx Performance Stage 1 Package, designed to unlock the full potential of the G16E engine while retaining factory drivability and reliability. The vehicle already had a turbo back exhaust fitted.
Stage 1 Package Includes:
Maxx Performance custom multi-map dyno tune
MST V2 enclosed air intake system
With the new intake installed, we placed the Yaris on our Mainline Hub Dyno, finishing at:
199.3kW at all four wheels
Strong gains were achieved across the entire rev range, significantly improving throttle response, torque delivery, and top-end power.
The ECUTek Multi-Map setup adds extensive functionality, including:
High boost and low boost maps
Flat foot shifting
Adjustable launch control
Fully switchable via factory steering wheel controls

2015 FGX XR6 Turbo External Wastegate Upgrade & Flex Fuel Retune
This 2015 FGX XR6 Turbo returned to Maxx Performance for an external wastegate kit and a flex fuel dyno retune to suit. We originally fitted a full suite of supporting mods to this car over 6 years ago, and it’s great to see it still going strong and making solid power!
With the new external wastegate setup installed we moved to the Mainline Hub Dyno and refined the flex tune from 98 all the way through to E85 ensuring smooth boost control and strong consistent power across all blends with the added benefit of hassle free refueling!

2006 Subaru Forester Cross Sport Turbo
This 2006 import Subaru Forester Turbo came in for a round of upgrades and a Maxx Performance custom dyno tune to give the boxer a bit more bite!
We got to fitting:
Process West Top Mount Intercooler Kit with Turbosmart BOV
-3” turbo back exhaust and high flowed cat
-K&N High Flow airfilter and Airbox mod
-High flow Walbro 255LPH fuel pump upgrade
With the new hardware fitted, we moved the car onto our Mainline Hub Dyno and completed a custom Maxx Performance Dyno Tune finishing up at: 146.5awkw
A solid result for a standard TD04 turbo, with big improvements in throttle response and midrange torque.
With the supporting mods now in place, this Forester is the perfect candidate for a turbo upgrade down the track.
2005 Subaru WRX Maxx Performance Custom Dyno Tune
This 2005 Subaru WRX came in for a Maxx Performance dyno tune, arriving with a solid list of supporting mods already fitted by the customer:
-Headers & turbo back exhaust
-Intake pipe & pod filter
-STI 565cc injectors
-VF34 turbo
-Upgraded fuel pump
We began tuning on our Mainline Hub Dyno, via ECUTek but quickly noticed the car losing fuel pressure under load. After some diagnostic checks, we found the existing fuel pump (of unknown age) simply couldn’t keep up.
We replaced it with a new Walbro high flow pump we had on the shelf, restored stable fuel pressure and continued with the tune.
The result: 191.7awkw
A strong, responsive setup for a classic GD WRX, now running safely and performing the way it should.
Y62 Patrol Maxx Performance Custom
Multi map Tune
This 2024 Nissan Patrol came in for a Custom Maxx Performance Dyno Tune.
Already fitted with Headers and a full exhaust we fitted a K&N performance panel filter and got to work on the dyno with a custom multi map tune via ECUTEK.
With the hardware already sorted, we focused on optimising the factory ECU to unlock the true potential of the K56!
